La Liga 2024: Jude Bellingham hailed as the new King of El Clasico

El Clasico victory in La Liga

Jude Bellingham became the show’s star after scoring a dramatic added-time goal to secure a 3-2 victory over his team’s rival, Barcelona, in another thrilling match at La Liga 2024. 

In the first minute of stoppage time, Bellingham shot the ball at the far post following Vinicius Junior’s first half-penalty. Meanwhile, Lucas Vazquez canceled out the goals from Fermin Lopez and Andreas Christensen. 

Real Madrid has moved 11 points over Barcelona in the La Liga standings, with only six matches remaining before they play at the Bernabeu. 

Atletico Madrid’s hope of ascending to the top four was halted after they followed up their shocking 2-0 defeat to Borussia Dortmund with another loss at Alaves. Luis Rioja and Carlos Benavidez, two of Deportivo Alaves’ finest, were responsible for the defeat.

Serie A and Ligue 1

Paris Saint-Germain is ahead of their counterparts with 11 points in the Ligue 1 standing table. This occurred after Goncalo Ramos shot a double goal, constituting a five-goal total before the second half. As a result, PSG had a 4-1 victory against Lyon, which bolstered their ranking at the league table. 

Brest’s hopes of making the top three had crumbled following their side-by-side losses. Their 2-0 home defeat to Monaco caused their recent fall. 

Both Takumi Minamino and Denis Zakaria scored on both sides of the halftime in favor of Monaco. Meanwhile, Wilfried Singo and Eliesse Ben Seghir were kicked out of the pitch due to aggressive behaviors on the field, which is usually common in La Liga matches. 

Lille retained its Champions League composure after recovering from its Europa Conference League loss to Aston Villa by defeating Strasbourg 1-0 at its home match. Meanwhile, Jonathan David produced an early goal in the first half that boosted Lille to one point behind Brest.
